Enter the Year of the Tiger with creative workshops and have a glimpse into the most important holiday in Asia at Manifesto Anděl!
Don't miss the chance to look into the traditions of the Asian culture and celebrations of the Lunar New Year. In collaboration with the Czech Taiwanese Association, you can join our New Year's workshop in groups of 10 people and you can choose from 3 time slots.
During one hour you can look forward to a short introduction to the Lunar New Year celebrations. Afterwards, you will create your own unique money envelopes which are traditionally given to the dearest one for luck during this occasion. Following with another activity of creating a dancing lion puppet - an icon of dancing dragons or lions which are seen on the streets during the New Year celebrations. Part of the workshop is also playing the traditional dice game.
All art materials will be supplied at Manifesto, so just bring yourself, a smile and hands ready to get creative! Each person can take the artwork home for a fee of CZK 250. Reserve your spot on shop.manifestomarket.com.
