Privacy Policy

This document explains how and for how long we process your personal data when you visit our:

Please make sure to read what rights you have regarding your personal data in the relevant section at the end of this document. If you have any questions regarding the processing of personal data, please contact us by email at info@manifesto.city.

Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons in connection with the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data) (“Regulation”).

We, Manifesto Holding s.r.o., with our registered office at Národní 135/14, Nové Město, 110 00 Prague 1, Company ID: 07826397, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, section C, insert 308278, are the controller of your personal data (“Controller” or “We”). The processing of certain personal data may also be handled by companies belonging to Manifesto group.

 

Processing of personal data on our website

Ordering goods, complaints and reservations

1. Based on your order, we process the personal data you provide in the order. These are in particular: name, surname, e-mail, phone number, company name, address/headquarters, payment information, order information and any other personal information that you provide when placing your order.

2. We process these personal data in order to process your order, reservation, shipment of goods, or to handle your complaints. This processing is necessary for the performance of the contract. We also process data for contract registration and in case a dispute arises between us. Processing is also necessary to fulfil our legal obligation as well as our legitimate interests.

3. We process the above-mentioned personal data for the period necessary for the fulfilment of the contract, the duration of the rights arising from the contract and for any limitation periods, a maximum of 10 years from the implementation of the last part of the contract, unless another legal regulation or a possible dispute requires us to keep the contractual documentation for a longer period of time.

4. By concluding the contract, you become a customer of ours, allowing us to send marketing communications to your e-mail address for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase, unless you decide to extend this period. You can of course opt out of receiving these emails. This is provided for in Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on information society services. You can refuse to receive these communications at any time in any way – for example, by sending an e-mail to info@manifesto.city or by clicking on the dedicated link in one of the commercial communication.

User Account

1. If you create a user account on this website, we will process the following personal data during registration: first name, last name, e-mail and password. When using a user account and ordering goods, we will also process: telephone number, Company ID / VAT ID, company name, address/headquarters and order history in order to make your next order as convenient as possible.

2. We will process all this data for the purpose of account administration and enabling orders in the web interface of our store.

3. We will process the above-mentioned data for 2 years from the last login, based on the consent you gave us during registration. You can withdraw this consent at any time, for example by sending an e-mail to info@manifesto.city or a letter to our headquarters address. Please note, however, that by withdrawing your consent, you will lose the membership benefits that may result from having an active user account.

Consent to sending newsletters

1. If you are interested in receiving news from the world of Manifesto, for example about new restaurants, events or new markets, and you sign up for our newsletter, we will process the following personal data: e-mail address, first and last name.

2. We will process your personal data in order to send you the newsletter, based on your consent, which you have given us by signing up to the newsletter.

3. We will process personal data for these purposes for 3 years from the date of consent. We can extend this period if you express an interest before it expires.

4. You grant your explicit consent to the processing described above. You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example by sending a letter, email to info@manifesto.city or by clicking on the link in one of our newsletters. If you withdraw your consent, no further newsletters will be sent.

Communication

1. If you need to ask anything and contact us, we may process your first name, surname, e-mail address or telephone number and other data that you provide in the course of our communication.

2. We process the above-mentioned personal data in order to be able to answer your questions and solve whatever may be needed, for the time necessary to complete the communication. The reason is contract negotiation or our legitimate interest.

3. We process the data for a maximum of 1 year from the processing of your query, unless there is another legal reason for further processing, e.g. if we enter into a contract, or unless we agree otherwise (for example, when storing your CV in the case of your interest in working with us).

Cookies

1. We use cookies on this website. You can find more detailed information about them in our Cookie Policy.

Recipients or processors of personal data

1. All personal information is confidential and will not be provided to any third party. An exception are companies belonging to the Manifesto group, which can help us with processing. In addition, your personal data may be processed by providers of processing software, services and applications such as:

  • web hosting provider,
  • marketing service provider,
  • mailing software provider,
  • CRM system provider,
  • Online shop system provider,
  • reservation system provider,
  • accounting software provider,
  • accounting service provider,
  • delivery and transport service providers,
  • payment gateway providers,
  • and possibly other providers of processing software, services and applications that we do not currently use.

2. Processors may change, but we always carefully select them and make sure the protection of your personal data is guaranteed. If you are interested in who currently provides us with these services, please email us at info@manifesto.city.

 

Social Media

Communication, interaction on social networks

1. You can also contact us through our profiles on social media: Facebook (@manifestomarket.prague), Instagram @manifestomarket.prague and @manifestomarket.berlin), YouTube (Manifesto Market) and Pinterest (Manifesto Market Official), or on others that we may establish in the future. If you communicate with us via our social media channels, for example by sending us a message with a question, we may, if necessary, process some of your personal data, in particular your first name, surname, username, e-mail address or telephone number and other data, which you specify as part of the communication.

2. When interacting with our Facebook or Instagram profiles (likes, shares, etc.), the operator of these social media channels, Meta Platforms, Inc., may share some additional data with us, in particular about the number of people or accounts who have viewed, commented on, or responded to our posts, as well as aggregate demographic and other data to help us better understand user interactions with our profiles.

Competitions

1. We may also occasionally announce a competition that we organize on our social media channels. If you sign up for it, we will process your personal data, which will be needed for participation in the competition, selection of the winner and delivery of the prize. This will mainly concern your first and last name or username on the social network, e-mail, telephone and delivery address.

2. If you participate in the competition, you agree to its terms and conditions and to the processing of your personal data. You can withdraw your consent at any time, but in this case, it would not be possible to continue in the competition. We keep personal data for the duration of the competition and for the time required to deliver the prize or exercise any rights.

Other social media tools

1. We also use the Meta (formerly Facebook) pixel analytics tool on our website, including its other functions, which allows us to understand the actions that visitors take on our website, measure this behaviour and, as a result, display relevant Facebook and Instagram ads and further measure their effectiveness.

2. This tool uses marketing cookies to process some data from our website (for example, information about your visit or whether you responded to our advertising). Meta Platforms Inc. may associate or link this data with your user account on these social networks. You can adjust the settings of ads on Facebook and Instagram within your user account. Markets

Photography and videos

1. We organise various events at our markets, where we take photos and videos. When taking photos and videos, a recording of your person may be processed and your appearance or expressions of a personal nature may be recorded.

2. By participating in such an event, you acknowledge this information and agree to this recording and the use described below. If you do not want to be photographed or filmed, ask the photographer or videographer present at the event. If you still happen to find yourself in our photos or videos and it bothers you, please write to info@manifesto.city.

3. We place photos and videos primarily on our social media channels, on our website, and we also use them appropriately to inform about our activities and promote them.

Cameras

1. The premises of our markets are monitored by a total of 7 cameras without sound recording. As part of this monitoring, a recording of your person may be processed and your appearance or expressions of a personal nature may be recorded.

2. The reason for this monitoring is to ensure the safety of people, things and property in our markets, i.e. a legitimate interest.

3. The recording from the cameras is stored for 72 hours

Wi-Fi connection

1. If you connect to a Wi-Fi spot provided by us, we will process your personal data, namely your IP address, MAC address and e-mail, as well as any other data related to the use of the connection.

2. The reason for this processing is the provision of an Internet connection, i.e. the fulfilment of a contract. We also process the above-mentioned personal data to ensure your and our safety, which justifies our legitimate interest and possibly also legal obligations.

3. We will keep the data for a maximum of 1 year from the moment you stop using the Wi-Fi connection.

Recipients or processors of personal data

1. All personal information is confidential and will not be provided to any third party. An exception are the providers of processing software, services and applications such as:

  • internet connection provider,
  • marketing service provider,
  • camera system provider,
  • security services provider,
  • and possibly other providers of processing software, services and applications that we do not currently use.

2. Processors may change, but we always carefully select them and make sure the protection of your personal data is guaranteed. If you are interested in who currently provides us with these services, please email us at info@manifesto.city.

 

Transfer of personal data outside the EU

1. As we use some foreign processors, personal data may be transferred outside the EU, specifically in the case of these processors:

  • Meta Platforms Inc.,
  • Google Inc.,

2. We have concluded processing contracts with all these processors, which contain standard contractual clauses or corresponding agreements and guarantees of personal data protection. You can find more information about the processing and protection of personal data by these companies in point 7 of our Cookie Policy, where you will find links to the relevant documents.

 

Your Rights

1. According to the Regulation, you have the following rights in connection with the protection of personal data:

  • withdraw your consent at any time,
  • request information from us concerning the personal data we process,
  • request access to this data, have it updated or corrected, or request the restriction of processing,
  • require us to delete your personal data - unless it is personal data that we are obliged or authorised to further process according to the relevant legal regulations or its deletion conflicts with the legitimate interests of the Controller,
  • the right to request a copy of the processed personal data,
  • object to the processing if the processing takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest,
  • contact us or the Office for Personal Data Protection, or the court
