The story of
Manifesto is a next-generation food market hall brand, at the intersection of food & beverage, real estate, technology, and culture. We create, design and operate food hubs with ghost kitchens admired as stylish places that provide a variety of gastronomic experiences -in-market and online- for people who want to enjoy cool, exciting vibes, culture and high-quality customer experience.
Uniquely, we are one of the first fully cashless places in Europe. We create and utilize digital technology products and data to provide an enhanced customer and tenant experience.
Manifesto is the brainchild and first hospitality project founded by landscape architect and entrepreneur Martin Barry.
We transform parking lots, brownfields and new developments with buzzing and vibrant concepts which present opportunities for chefs and become meeting hubs for residents.

Design first. Manifesto was initiated by entrepreneur and landscape architect Martin Barry and his nonprofit reSITE dedicated to future-proof city-making. We dreamt of a place that combined great food, drinks, music and films, to connect people around unique experiences and increase the quality of life in our neighborhoods. We found inspiration in the unkept and unused and brought our enthusiasm and passion from our collaborators to change that, together.

We insist on leveraging the latest technologies to offer a flawless experience to our digitally fluent customers. We pioneered cashless and contactless payments, because we know this method is hygienic, transparent and safe. In 2020, we launched bundled delivery, to offer the same variety of meals in-market and online. Dad wants a burger, mom wants grilled chicken, the kids want tacos? No need to compromise with Manifesto bundled delivery.
Sustainability
Our markets are 100% powered by energy from renewable sources delivered by Nano Energies. There is no planet B, so we are dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint. Our marketplaces are an example of reversible design: built out of modular units, we can move them to reuse at future locations. We don't tolerate plastic at Manifesto and recycle our waste. You can help us in our efforts by saving water or getting our reusable cutlery set.
