CHILDREN & YOUTH PROGRAM

Discover, be amazed, and get involved: the Doxumentale Children & Youth Program invites you to Potsdamer Platz from May 29 to 31 to see the world from new perspectives. From children’s book readings for the youngest audiences to exciting short documentaries, as well as workshops, concerts, and interactive games, there is plenty to explore.

This is not just about watching—it’s about trying things out, asking questions, and understanding how things work: how films are made, how stories shape us, and how we interpret information in everyday life. A program for curious minds and anyone eager to explore media and its impact in a playful way.


SHORT FILMS

Spotless

How do headlines shape the way we see reality? This workshop explores why fact-checking matters and introduces basic verification techniques. Through research and discussion, participants learn to question information critically and navigate media more consciously.

Workshop: Filmmaking Workshop
May 31, from 4:00 PM @ Manifesto

How are films actually made—and how much can you tell using just your smartphone? In this workshop, participants work in small teams to create their own short films. Through experimentation, filming, and reflection, they explore different storytelling approaches. The material can later be further developed independently.
