What’s On at Manifesto Potsdamer Platz This Autumn

As the autumn season sets in, Manifesto Potsdamer Platz announces a series of new restaurant openings, upcoming events, and spatial changes designed to enhance the experience for guests and tenants alike.

New Kitchens: Expanding Ground Floor Offerings

This October, the food hub welcomes several new and repositioned vendors to its roster:

  • Chen’s Lanzhou Beef Noodles, the well-known noodle concept from Neukölln, brings its signature hand-pulled noodles and traditional Western Chinese recipes to the center of Berlin.
  • Midam Korean BBQ launches a new fried chicken concept with bold Korean flavors tailored for a casual dining format.
  • Kabuki Japanese Tepanyaki, Germany’s oldest teppanyaki restaurant from Frankfurt, is moving to the ground floor, offering up Berlin’s premier Japanese wagyu and Japanese Whiskey.
  • Afro Pot and Kim 999 will transform the former central oval bar into two individual kitchens, allowing the ground floor to accommodate more food offerings in one of the venue’s busiest zones.
  • Daruma Ramen will relocate their top-selling ramen shop to the ground floor while Mao Zeit and its Chinese malatang hot pot concept will relocate to a more prominent location adjacent to Soot Bar, improving visibility and accessibility for guests.

HIMITSU Reopens November 7

The Japanese speakeasy-style bar HIMITSU, known for its intimate setting and curated cocktail list, will reopen to the public on Friday 7 November, adding a premium late-night experience back into Manifesto’s nightlife offer. Himitsu, the winning of the Best New Bar in Germany by the Falstaff Awards and nominated for Berlin’s Top 5 Bar Culture by Berlin Partner, will bring a new service model to the hidden bar, offering DJ Sets, Japanese snacks in collaboration with Kabuki, and higher paced vibe reminiscent of the bars of Ginza and Roppongi, Tokyo.

Festival of Lights: Meet at Manifesto (October 8–15)

From October 8 to 15, Manifesto Potsdamer Platz is the ideal meeting spot during Berlin’s Festival of Lights. Located on Alte Potsdamer Straße—one of the festival’s official 6 light art locations in the area, Manifesto offers front-row access to the illuminations.

Stop by for hot wine, a special themed cocktail, and seasonal drinks to go and bring on your Festival of Lights Walk. With extended bar hours, Manifesto is the perfect place to meet friends, warm up, and enjoy the glow before heading out to explore. The light show runs nightly from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, just steps from Manifesto’s entrance.

Cirque du Soleil Comes to Potsdamer Platz: Manifesto Marks the Occasion

With Cirque du Soleil’s ALIZÉ highly anticipated show opening next door in late October, Manifesto will offer guests a dedicated pre- and post-show discount at the Soot Bar. Guests must show a valid same-day show ticket at the Soot Bar to access the special offer. To celebrate the season of spectacle, a limited-edition cocktail inspired by the show’s theatrical spirit will be available throughout the season; a perfect pairing with an evening of lights, performance, drinks and dining in the heart of Berlin.

NFL game live in Berlin: Screening at Manifesto Potsdamer Platz

Manifesto will screen the NFL Berlin game (Indianapolis Colts vs. Atlanta Falcons) on 9 November, with stadium-style seating, food, drinks, and large-format screens. Further NFL games will be shown this season, subject to CET/CEST kickoff times. Broadcast via a licensed commercial subscription. Refreshed Kid's Zone

One of the most popular and successful spaces in Manifesto, the Kid’s Zone at Manifesto Potsdamer Platz has been refreshed for autumn, offering a safe and engaging space for families with young children. With weekend programming for kids continuing at Manifesto, the food market is designed to welcome families throughout the colder months.

First Floor Undergoing Transformation

The first floor of Manifesto Potsdamer Platz is being repurposed for a new use. While this section of the venue is temporarily unavailable to the public, Manifesto will be utilizing the floor for its growing private events business. Further details will be announced in the coming months about the transformation to an event space. The ground floor remains fully operating with new kitchens and guest programming rolling out through Q4.

With new kitchens, seasonal celebrations, cultural partnerships, and refreshed spaces, Manifesto Potsdamer Platz is stepping into autumn with energy and variety. From family-friendly programming to nightlife experiences, from local crafts to global performances, the market continues to evolve as Berlin’s destination for dining, culture, and community. Guests can expect a dynamic mix of flavors, events, and entertainment throughout the season—all under one roof at Potsdamer Platz.
