If you are craving Syrian food, this is the place to go in Berlin. All the ingredients are sourced with meticulous care, resulting in trips to Istanbul for particular tastes. Malakeh serves authentic Middle Eastern dishes - like Kabab Kashkash, an intricate mixture of rolled grilled minced meat with parsley, Aleppo peppers, spices and tomato sauce.
This was a very nice experience. The food was amazing. I came here because this place was recommended as a place that is quite authentic. A well-deserved experience. Highly recommend.

After relocating to Berlin in 2015, Malakeh Jazmati and her husband Mohammed started a Syrian catering business - quickly becoming famous to the point where they got to serve German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, Fattet Makdous at a reception. They were repeatedly told to open a restaurant, so eventually they did and now you can enjoy their Syrian cuisine at Manifesto Potsdamer Platz.
